Geeklog 2 Translations

Well, I did a bit of homework on how to handle language translations for Geeklog 2. My initial thought is to use gettext() but we aren't sure if that will alienate some people on ISP hosted servers. Despite that, I found this article that explains how to use it. My hunch is we will support two translation methods...which is unfortunate.

Geeklog 2 Off the Ground

I have finally accomplished something towards getting Geeklog 2 off the ground. I have cobbled together some code that uses my A&A system along with a custom PHP4 session handler to successfully authenticate a user and save their data to the session. This accomplishment is a big step as it gives the foundation other developers need to start doing their thing. To ge the details of this work go here. Raider Watch

Well, the Oakland Raiders take to the field against the Tennessee Titans Sunday. I'm a bit worried my Raiders aren't going to be able to find a way to contain McNair. However if it came to a blow-for-blow offensive shoot-out I give the game hands down to the Raiders. Turnovers, however, will be key. If we can avoid 'em and even cause a few for them we'll be in great shape. Of course, nothing is for certain which is why they play the game.

New Quest

Seems like life is a series of situations where you have to prove yourself. Personally I like that challenge. Well, today I got started on a new challenge as I try to get an authentication and authorization module I have been working on accepted into PHP Extension and Application Repository (PEAR).
